This Privacy Policy describes how Strandr ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Name (optional)
• Password (encrypted)
• Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)

SMS / Mobile Messaging Information

If you choose to receive SMS messages from Strandr, we collect:

• Your mobile phone number
• SMS consent status (transactional and/or marketing, tracked separately)
• Opt-in source, timestamp, IP address, and user-agent at the moment you consented
• The verbatim disclosure text you were shown when you consented
• Message history, delivery status, and opt-out / help-request records

We retain this SMS opt-in evidence for at least five years to comply with applicable telecommunications and consumer-protection laws.

Usage Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use Strandr:

• IP address and browser information
• Pages visited and features used
• Referring website
• Device type and operating system

Design Data

Important: Customer photos and designs you create are processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to any images or designs unless you explicitly share them with us for support purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Send important service updates and notifications
• Respond to support requests

You can opt out of analytics tracking using browser extensions or privacy settings.

• Vercel: Hosts our application
• Neon: Database hosting
• Resend: Email delivery service

SMS / Mobile Messaging

Telnyx: Provides SMS and MMS messaging delivery, routing, carrier registration, delivery reporting, and related messaging infrastructure. We share your mobile phone number, SMS consent records, message content, delivery metadata, and opt-out or help-request events with Telnyx only as needed to provide and administer SMS communications. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or consent status to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction covers any method of transfer, including sales, affiliate sharing, and business-to-business transfers. SMS opt-in data and consent records are used only to provide, support, and administer Strandr messaging.

All the above sharing categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers (such as Telnyx), phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

Cookies

We use cookies for:

• Keeping you logged in (essential)
• Remembering your preferences
• Analytics and advertising (with your consent)
• Affiliate tracking (30-day duration)

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS)
• Encrypted password storage

• Regular security updates
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you want to reactivate. You can request immediate deletion by contacting support.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Strandr, you consent to this transfer and processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

SMS / Mobile Messaging Communications

Strandr LLC may send SMS or MMS messages to the mobile phone number you provide, but only if you have separately opted in to that category of messaging. You can opt in at strandr.com/sms-optin or through any other Strandr form where SMS consent is offered. We maintain two distinct consent categories:

• Transactional / operational: account notifications, security alerts, billing and renewal reminders, delivery confirmations, and customer-support replies.
• Marketing: promotional offers, new-feature announcements, and other non-transactional messages. This requires a separate explicit opt-in and is never a condition of purchasing or using Strandr.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To opt out: reply STOP to any Strandr SMS message. You may also contact support@strandr.com. After you opt out we may send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS to that number unless you opt in again.

For help: reply HELP to any Strandr SMS message, or email support@strandr.com.

You represent that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide and that you will notify us if the number changes or is reassigned.

Your consent is specific to Strandr LLC. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We will not sell, rent, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or consent records to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, including transfers between affiliates or friendly businesses. SMS data is shared only with Telnyx and other service providers, mobile carriers, regulators, or parties as required to deliver messages, support compliance, prevent abuse, or comply with law — and never for third-party marketing.
